EQUIPMENT LAYOUT & SOUND GUIDELINES - CEREMONY

Ceremony On The Great Lawn:

●    No less than 4 music speakers are required for ceremonies seating up to 180 guests, or 6 speakers if more than 180 guests. See layout specs below.

●    Music speakers must face inwards towards the guests in a “box-in” formation around the parameter of seats.

●    Music speakers should be placed on stands no more than 5ft tall, at ear level to keep sound midrange.

●    Music speakers may be wired or wireless, but any wires should not affect the guests’ ability to walk safely.

●    Decibel measurements shall be taken from the AV table and shown to the venue manager prior to event start.

●    All guest speakers should hold the microphone close to their mouth vs. at their chest which will naturally raise their volume without having to turn up the speakers. DJs please instruct all speakers to do so.

Dinner Seating on The Great Lawn:

●    No less than 6 music speakers are required for dinner events seating outside. If only ambient music is being played and no microphones are needed, 4 speakers can be used by eliminating “C” and “D” from the equipment layout below. If microphones are being used, 6 speakers are needed for guests in the middle of the space to hear the microphone while staying within the guidelines.
